Eco-Friendly YoGen Charges Portable Gadgets Using Human Power

Oct 30, 2009
There are many gadgets today that harness wind or solar energy. But this is possible only during ideal weather conditions. Recently the company called Easy Energy presented at Hong Kong Electronics Fair its new eco-friendly charger that can help you charge your mobile phone or any other portable gadget by harnessing your own energy.

The company dubbed its device YoGen and it's a palm size gadget with a ripcord. If you pull the ripcord repeatedly it makes the built-in alternator generate enough energy to recharge some portable gadgets.

It's initial price is $ 39.99 and you have the possibility to select between YoGen with Apple and miniUSB tips or the one that has LG, Sony Ericsson, Nokia and microUSB tips.
