Toshiba presented its new
Mini NB200 netbook in the UK. The device has a 10.1-inch
widescreen TruBrite LED backlight display with a 1024x600 resolution.
Mini NB200 netbook is available in two variants, one featuring a
1.6GHz Intel Atom Processor N270 and a more powerful,
Intel Atom N280.
The two models include the
Intel 945GSE graphics chipset and Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition. In addition, both have a new textured cover and an original "tiled" keyboards design.
Among other features of Toshiba's new netbook you may find:
- 160GB HDD;
- Webcam;
- Bluetooth;
- 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi
- 3 USB ports (one featuring the company's "Sleep-and-Charge" tech that allows users to charge devices even when the netbook is off).
The netbook can boast up to
4-hours of battery life. You can also choose one of the four color options, including brown, black, white and pink.
Toshiba announced that its Mini NB200 netbook will hit the UK stores in May 2009 and its initial price will be GBP 319 (about $ 463).
