The flame is BIG! The lighter produces a flame that is around 3" high without any modification! However, because the lighter lets out so much butane at a time, the fuel is depleted moderately quickly. Refilling is simple. Just unscrew the cap and refill like any other lighter. The casing has a few color imperfections in the final finish, but nothing major. Although it probably would not be easily mistaken for an actual bullet because of its size and shape (it is over 3" long and is shaped like a handgun round), it is still a unique, attention-grabbing design. The ignition button is a little wobbly but otherwise feels sturdy and reliable when depressed.
On the whole, the lighter might not fit in the chamber of a pistol, but given its cost, you can't go wrong buying one of these neat devices for yourself and/or as a gift.
