The second largest telecommunications operator in Japan, KDDI, introduced a new premium brand in the land of the rising sun.The new brand is called iida and at the moment it includes three mobile phones in its line-up: two of them are iida G9, which were probably manufactured by Sony Ericsson and the third one is iida misora.
Let's go straight to the G9, which is a rather interesting slider, with a nice design and a 3-inch TFT touchscreen display with 480 x 854 pixels.
The gadget measures 115 x 50 x 17.4 mm. It includes an alphanumeric keypad as well as a 3.2MP camera with autofocus feature.
Take a closer look at the G9:

Iida misora is a mobile phone from a special collection, which the company developed together with the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, which is famous for being a big fan of dots.
It is worth mentioning that the special collection includes a number of accessories, including a handbag and a phone dock, which resembles a toy dog.

The new premium brand also includes a pico projector. The device can be connected to all of the company's mobile phones, including the G9. In addition, you may find a series of AC adapters in KDDI's premium brand.

Currently only the G9 mobile phone can be purchased. As a point in its marketing strategy the company launched its first 3,000 units at a price of 19,600 yen, which is about $ 195. Then the phone will be priced at 39,600 yen, (about $ 393).
