O2 Cocoon - A Phone For Consumers

The original design of the O2 Cocoon will definitely rise waves of gossip when the gadget will be launched into the market in August 2007. The phone has a sleek, white clamshell and it's display seems to show time and text as if it came out from nowhere. The phone also provides "now playing" information along with caller ID and previews of the text messages.

The O2 Cocoon mobile phone includes an internal memory of 2GB (500 tunes) at the same time being able to extend it up to 4GB thanks to a slot for micro SD cards. This gadget is able to play iTunes Plus DRM-free AAC files. For FM lovers the phone has an FM radio and the feature that might come in handy includes calling options that allow the user to choose between quiet background music that plays while one makes a call or complete pause.

This new generation mobile phone also includes a 2MP camera with 4x zoom and a Stereo Bluetooth. An important advantage of this gadget is the long life of its battery. Thus the power of the battery of O2 Cocoon provides 5 hours of talk time and 350 of standby. One of the phone's unique features is a "location aware" function. Thus in case one enters this feature the 02 phone will provide a venue details along with maps.

The time is displayed on the external LED display of the phone so the gadget looks like an alarm clock - a useful feature for our time.

The O2 Cocoon's camera, with its 2MP, allows making good quality pictures. In addition it is worth mentioning that the camera copes quite well in low light. Besides quality photos the phone's camera has an auto-flash and auto-focus which makes photo-making process much easier.

The mobile phone supports video calling, as well as Video streaming/download/playback. It measures 94(h) x 49(w) x 21(d) mm and its QVGA display 262k-color display has 2.1-inches.
