Apple Brings Back the eMac

Mar 24, 2009
Soon, students who cannot afford buying a new iMac computer will have the possibility to acquire a simpler version.

Apple announced that it brings back its 17-inch model, which will be available for $ 899.

To note that the less expensive iMac is the follow-up of the original eMac, a device that originated from the CRT-based iMac.

It is worth mentioning that the eMac was introduced back in 2002, featuring a 17-inch screen. The desktop computer was discontinued four years later. Back then its price was $ 800.

Today, students, who want the least inexpensive 20-inch iMac, have to pay $ 1150. The 24-inch iMac is currently available starting with $ 1400.
