A lot of gadgets today are being launched into the market and all of them required power.

This is the reason why some designers are working on devices that could help charge various gadgets using renewable energy.

One of such devices is called LiteOn and was developed by industrial designer Cindy Karimun.

An increasing number of designers come up with numerous projects that make use of renewable energy, be it solar, wind, wave or all three.

One of the representatives of the "green tech" trend is the industrial designer Kubik Petr who is the author of this interesting alarm clock concept. The Alarm Clock resembles planet Earth and runs exclusively on solar power.

Eton's Soulra is an iPhone dock that was built to be used outdoors.

The sound system boasts high-efficiency solar panel that allows the device to harness solar energy in order to provide music whenever you are.

Soulra measures 11.9 x 6.6 x 3.5-inch (301 x 168 x 89 mm).

According to Solar Components LLC, its Joos Orange, can generate up to 20 times more power compared to other solar gadgets.
