Christmas gift ideas from Gadgets.Infoniac

Dec 20, 2007

Christmas is now just under two weeks away, its unbelievable. If youve left your Christmas shopping to the last day, dont worry, weve got you covered with this list of Christmas gift ideas. Theres something for everyone!

Lets check it out

15" Gigantor Digital Photo Frame

Display your photos in glorious 1024×768 resolution with this digital LCD photo frame. Photos are read from a connected USB flash drive or external harddrive and can be set to display in slideshow mode. Not only that, the photo frame will also play MP3 audio files and MPEG 1, 2 or 4 movie files with sound.

The Plug-And-Play Skateboard Game

Simply plug the skateboard in to your TV and the players motions are translated in to real time moves on the television. Navigate multiple urban skateboard challenges such as timed races, slalom and obstacle courses, half-pipe environments, free skating, and tournament play. A joystick is also included for telling the on screen skateboarder to execute jumps, spins, grinds, hand-grabs, and other high-flying skateboard dynamics.

The USB Christmas cake hub

Christmas is just around the corner and with that comes the influx of marketing ideas to cash in on the holiday, just like this USB hub, which is in the style of a Christmas cake. Made in Japan, it has four ports, each with their own 1GB flash drive in the shape of a strawberry.

U.B Funkeys, something for the kids

After constantly indulging ourselves with grown up toys here, we thought it was about time we take a look at something for the little ones. This time of year is about the kids after all. Well, that was until we had a play around with these things ourselves.
These little critters are part of U.B Funkeys, which is an interactive computer game intended for kids. They may be intended for children but we think anyone can have a blast with these!Players work their way through the computer game (and help restore order to Funkeytown) by collecting the set of 24 characters. As each new character is added (connected via USB) to the games hub, new worlds of gameplay and puzzles are unlocked.

Xbox 360 / Playstation 3

Gaming consoles are always a favorite around Christmas time. This year is no different. We were going to recommend Nintendos Wii, which has been the best selling console all year, but it is near on impossible to get one at the RRP due to the massive demand. Rival gaming systems The Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 are still in plentiful supply however and are well worth the money.

The Super Powered Ride-On

This has to be the coolest kids ride-on car weve ever seen! Powered by a dual high-performance 24-volt electric motor this little baby will travel at up to 71/2 M.P.H on grass, dirt or hard surfaces. It even has an FM radio, glove compartment, and driver and passenger side mirrors.

The Two-Person Three-Wheeled Scooter Coupe

Priced at just under 00, this two-person scooter coupe looks like a ton of fun! Its powered by a 50cc air-cooled four-stroke engine and can achieve speeds of up to 30 mph. Its only 56" wide and has automatic transmission with independent all-wheel suspension and shock absorbers on top of 13" alloy wheels and rubber tires.

DJ bear

With the DJ bear you place your iPod (or any compatible MP3 player) in his front dungaree pocket, squeeze his cute hand to turn him on and then listen to you favourite playlist from speakers in his teenie weenie feet.

Christmas cheer coasters

Nothing is quite as fulfilling as a toasty warm drink on cold night. Our Christmas Cheer Drink Coasters are perfect for adorning your Irish Coffee Mug, cocktail or parfait glass with warm and whimsical winter style! Each plush coaster has a bell for added holiday spirit!
